Trapeziometacarpal joint (TMCJ) of the thumb is an unstable anatomically and depends on integrity normal functionality ligaments to prevent dislocation. Dislocation or subluxation trapezio-metacarpal generally appears more often as injuries accompanied with intraarticular fracture base first metacarpal trapezium.
